What happens at a Mill House Tea workshop
Smell, taste and blend
You'll start with a Copenhagen-inspired sparkling tea welcome, then meet the botanicals - a collection of herbs, flowers and roots laid out to be explored at your own pace. You'll smell, guess and taste your way through them. No right or wrong answers, just curiosity. From there, you'll learn the basics of blending at the Mill House table and leave with your own unique loose-leaf blend and the recipe to make it again.
Small groups, real learning
Up to six guests at Mill House, Kinton. Expect conversation and laughter alongside the crafting - creativity and calm in the same afternoon. Intimate enough to actually learn something, relaxed enough that it never feels like a class. You'll taste your way through our signature blends, learn what makes each one work, and leave with one that's entirely your own.

Meet the Founder
Brian Watkinson
Founder, MILL HOUSE TEA
Mill House Tea grew from years spent thinking about flavour, hospitality and ritual - and the ways small, considered experiences can shift how a day feels. Brian is a UK Tea Academy Tea Champion and a member of the Fermenters Guild, with a background in designing and delivering memorable public-facing experiences. The blends are made and the workshops are hosted at Mill House in Kinton, Shropshire.
