What should I expect from a Mill House Tea workshop?
ou'll start with a Copenhagen-inspired sparkling tea welcome, then work through a sensory session exploring the botanical collection by smell and taste. From there you'll learn the basics of blending before creating your own loose-leaf blend to take home, with a recipe card to recreate it. Sessions run two hours, up to eight guests, at Mill House in Kinton.
How much does a workshop cost?
Founder price sessions are £45 per person - a limited early-run price in exchange for honest feedback. Future sessions will be priced at £55–65.
What is the maximum number of participants?
Up to eight guests per session. Small enough that everyone gets proper attention and the atmosphere stays relaxed.
Can I take my blended tea home?
Yes - you leave with a pouch of the loose-leaf blend you made during the session, plus a recipe card so you can recreate it at home.
Are the workshops suitable for beginners?
Completely. No prior knowledge needed. The sensory session is designed so there are no right or wrong answers - just curiosity. Brian will guide you through everything.
What should I bring to the workshop?
Just yourself. Everything is provided - botanicals, equipment, blending materials and the sparkling tea welcome. Free parking at Mill House, Kinton, Nesscliffe SY4 1AZ.
Is there a refund policy if I need to cancel?

What's the difference between tea and a tisane?
True tea comes from the Camellia sinensis plant - green, black, oolong and white teas. A tisane is an infusion of herbs, flowers, roots or bark. Three of our four Mill House blends are tisanes. Clarity contains Japanese sencha, a green tea.
What should I bring to the workshop?
One heaped teaspoon per cup. Pour water just off the boil — or 80°C for Clarity. Brew for 3–5 minutes, or 2–3 minutes for Clarity. Adjust to taste. Each pouch comes with a brew guide.
What should I wear to the workshop?
Yes - all four blends are available to order online with UK shipping. Workshop attendees receive a discount on products on the day.
